Jensen Palomino is my name and I would love to work in the arts or programming somehow. I have worked the most as a Art Teacher working for the Vivid Canvas Art Studio in Simi Valley California. I worked there for about 5 years while in college. Teaching was amazing and I would love to do it again it took a lot of work and adaptability. I became very good at thinking on my feet and seeing the details that others miss.
After I moved away from California I began working as a Janitor and Flooring re-waxer. I learned how to work as a team and gave me more time for patience when it comes to results. Removing the wax from flooring was a lot of work so I eventually left. I became an Order Picker for Walmart and learned the locations of all the items in the store. I also learned how to be on my feet for hours of the day and talk to customers in need of help. I also worked through Black Friday uring my time at Walmart. I soon got offered a position at a different company working on restocking merchandise in Harris Teeters and I took it. During my time there I was focused on team work.
I began to have health problems while working in the Harris Teeters and had to quit for a time. While I was recovering I began college again and started a Web Design and Development Certificate along with a Graphic Design Degree. When I finished the Certificate I was ready to get back into the work force and began working as an Inbound Specialist at a Target. I learned a lot from my time there including how to communicate with my team and how to spider wrap large objects. I soon realized that life working in that Target was not for me.
I am now looking for a new position in the arts whether it be taking photos of people or cars. I do not mind. I want to be able to teach, but I don't know If I will find another mom and pop painting studio around here. I would love to work for any art type job.
